Mammoth - 2018 Events Calendar

From bikini babes to superheroes, Mammoth Mountain got wet and wild on Sunday for the Annual Pond Skim. From the Quiksilver Bikini contest, to awards feature mophie Best Crash, Quiksilver Bikini Babe, Beats by Dre Best Costume and Monster Energy Crowd Favorite, there was fun in the sun and something for everyone.
Our Altamont crew was in Mammoth pouring at our first Bluezappolooza. We have been wanting to attend this festival for awhile now and it definitely lived up to our expectations. Here's a quick highlight edit.

Mammoth Annual Pond Skim - April 15, 2018

The first 50 competitors in costumes will get a coveted spot in the 2018 skim.  This is one of most entertaining events you'll see all season.

Bluesapalooza - Mammoth Festival of Beers & Blues - August 2-5, 2018

Held at the peak of summer, this Mammoth music festival held out in the woods features four days of great blues and rock music along with some of the best craft breweries in the country.

Mammoth Kamikaze Bike Games - September 13-16, 2018

A multi-disciplined mountain biking event with races available for beginners, legends and everything in between.  The event has a fun expo with live music, races for kids, etc.

Mammoth Oktoberfest - September 21-24, 2018

How have I never been to this?  Everything you'd expect from a rowdy Oktoberfest event, including a keg toss, stein holding contest, log cutting, etc.  Music is played by a band called Bayern Maiden (best band name I've ever heard).

It's too early in the season for snowboarding, but should fit right into the tail end of mountain biking season.
