Spartan Race at Big Bear - May 19-20
A 12 mile race with 30+ obstacles this year.
SoCal Beast and Spring Weekend Presented by Big Bear Lake
Hot Dawgz and Handrails - September 22
Last year (2017) we went mountain biking at Snow Summit during the day, then quickly drove over to Big Bear and caught Snoop Dogg, Method Man & Redman live. Tickets were just $25, the crowd was huge and the concert was incredible. This event gets bigger every year--I couldn't recommend it more highly.
Big Bear Oktoberfest - September-October (2018 TBD)
Haven't been, but looks fun.

The Cave Concert Series - Year around
The Cave is an indoor rock venue in the downtown area of Big Bear Lake. Their lineup mostly features well-known classic rock tribute bands and the occasional well-known artist. Definitely worth keeping an eye on their lineup in case they feature any interesting shows while you're there.
So far, they have a surprisingly impressive 2018 lineup: Jefferson Starship, Beatles vs. Stones, 40 oz. to Freedom, Dick Dale, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, etc.
